VALENCIA DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

EST. 2018

AVAILABLE IN SPAIN

Valencia is one of those places that makes destination weddings feel unfairly easy: sunshine, Mediterranean culture, and venues that range from historic masías in orange groves to sleek city spaces.

If you want Spain to feel warm, joyful, and effortless (with food that can make grown adults emotional), Valencia is your place.

ABOUT ME

I’m Rose Crenes, Barcelona-based and working with international couples across Spain. My style blends documentary and editorial: I’ll give you images that feel cinematic, but I won’t turn your wedding into a photoshoot unless you want that — and even then, we keep it real.

Why Valencia works so well for destination weddings

Valencia gives you flexibility:

  • City convenience (hotels, logistics, nightlife, culture)

  • Countryside venues minutes away

  • Beach and nature options (hello, Albufera sunsets)

It’s a dream for couples who want a wedding weekend where guests can actually enjoy Spain, not just attend an event.

My approach stays the same: honest, intimate storytelling with an editorial edge.

PHOTOGRAPHY THAT MATCHES THE VALENCIA VIBE

That means:

  • I photograph the “big” (celebration, atmosphere) and the “tiny” (hands, glances, the moment before you walk in)

  • I don’t orchestrate emotions. I stay close and let them happen.

  • Portraits feel natural — like you, on your best day, not like a brand campaign you didn’t ask for.

The Valencia timeline that actually works

This region is all about light and flow. I’ll help you plan a photography-friendly rhythm:

  • Ceremony when the sun isn’t trying to end you.

  • Portraits during golden hour (fast, calm, no vanishing for an hour).

  • Dinner + party photographed like it felt — not like a staged recap.

SOME TIPS TO START

Planning tips for international couples getting married in Girona

  • Many international couples choose legal paperwork at home and do a symbolic ceremony in Spain, because Spain can be bureaucratic for non-residents. (A planner will guide you either way.)

  • Valencia is destination-friendly, but vendor English varies—having a bilingual planner can make everything smoother.

  • Valencia is the perfect place to get married: traffic-free, easily accessible, and close to the airport. This allows for flexible scheduling and minimizes travel time. To make it even better, look for venues that offer accommodation for you and your guests. There's nothing like a great pre-wedding party or a post-wedding barbecue.

  • Not only do I regularly work in Valencia, it's also my birthplace! Although I'm currently based in Barcelona, most of my work takes place in Valencia. I know every corner, venue, and supplier so you can be 100% sure that everything will be perfect.

  • My work goes beyond simply taking photos; you can count on me for anything you need. My experience with weddings in Valencia and the surrounding area can help you feel more confident and relaxed during the planning process and on your wedding day itself. I'll help you with the timing so that everything runs smoothly on your special day.

  • Apart from the coverage of the wedding day itself, in my service packages you will find pre-wedding and post-wedding sessions, photography of reception dinners, pre-wedding parties, post-wedding parties and marriage proposals.

  • Yes, film photography is one of my passions, and I try to incorporate it into all my projects. I also have specific packages that include analog photography, and you can add extra rolls of film to your packs.
